Piscoco Mirror
A wild shoal of fish breaks the calm while it swims along the edge of the mirror gloss surface.
Piscoco not only draws inspiration from the exuberant Rococo, but is also crafted in the same way with the today rare craft of wood sculpture. If it wasn’t for wood sculpture, we wouldn’t have had neither Baroque nor Rococo, but today there are only a handful wood sculptors left.
Piscoco is a collaboration between designer Matilda Hunyadi and one of Sweden’s foremost wood sculptors and Swedish Journeyman of the Year 2017, Karl Sjögren.
